Colson Barker has been known by his stage name, Machine Gun Kelly, or MGK, ever since he rose to fame. However, he’s been dropping hints that it may all be about to change.

Machine Gun Kelly hints he’s ‘changing his name’

As fans held up the signs, they explained they wanted MGK to take “machine gun” out of his name, so as not to glorify the weapon.

At the time he told the crowd “I have no idea what that sign means,” but we think the sign is the first tease from the singer.

Nothing was promised at the concert. However, the Bloody Valentine singer recently stepped out with his fiancé Megan Fox at the GQ Men of the Year party, and it was a different story.

Speaking to photographers on the glitzy red carpet, the rapper asked photographers if they could just call him Machine.

“Instead of Machine Gun can you just call me Machine from now on? Just Machine,” he asked.

If that wasn’t clear enough, it looks like the star may have subtly made an announcement on Instagram.

In a photo dump of pics from recent ongoings, the star captioned the post: “[screaming emoji] ‘machine'” and it seemed like fans were over the moon.

“Machine is the move,” commented one.

“MACHINE IS THE MAN OF THE YEAR,” exclaimed another.

We’re sure the paps had no problems referring to MGK as Machine, as he and Megan stole the show with their iconic fashion looks.

The celebrity couple walked hand in hand down the red carpet. Their looks couldn’t be more different, but they went together like two peas in a pod.

The Jennifer’s Body star stunned in a white low-cut mini dress, while her boyfriend opted for a classic rock star look. A black leather jacket and matching trousers.
