Tekashi 6ix9ine was arrested in Florida on Wednesday over traffic violations, Palm Beach County jail tells Celebrity Tidbit.
The music star, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, was booked into a Palm Beach County jail, however was released on bail after a few hours.
Tekashi 6ix9ine ‘busted’ for traffic violation
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office has told Celebrity Tidbit that he was stopped after an alleged moving traffic infraction. Deputies at the scene also reported observing a vehicle that did not have a license tag.
“The driver was stopped and identified as Daniel Hernandez who had a suspended driver’s license and active traffic warrant in PALMS for FTA,” the Sheriff’s office added.
The celebrity was then arrested and transported to the PBC jail with no additional charges. Traffic citations were issued for Wednesday’s violations. The star was later released after posting $2000 bail.
The arrest comes after ‘brutal’ gym attack
The arrest comes just months after the GOOBA star was rushed to hospital after being ‘brutally’ attacked in a gym bathroom in Florida.
The New York native could be seen being ‘beaten up’ by a group of men in a video that was going viral on TikTok at the time.
Tekashi was seen trying to protect his head from the blows. The clip showed the men continued to punch and kick the star. He was then taken to the hospital to treat injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.
Speaking out on the attackers on social media he said they were “nothing but cowardly”.
Tekashi 6ix9ine looked ‘genuinely happy’ in last post
Not one to hold back, however, Tekashi has not yet addressed the latest arrest on social media, at the time of writing.
His last Instagram post was a story posted on Wednesday evening, advertising his vape brand, dummy vapes. However, it is not known whether the post was directly posted by the star.
The rapper’s last grid post was four days ago, where he can be seen dancing in the mirror with his girlfriend. Fans rushed to the post complimenting him on how happy he looks with her, as one wrote:
“This is the definition of someone bringing out the best in you genuine happiness.”
