Taylor Swift has paid tribute during one of her shows in Brazil to a fan who died while attending her Eras Tour in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Taylor Swift took to the stage to sing her song Bigger Than The Whole Sky. It follows the death of 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado, who was in attendance to another gig on Friday (November 17). Sadly, the fan was later rushed to hospital where she died an hour later, according to The Guardian.

The music star said that she was “devastated” by the fan’s death.
“I can’t believe I’m writing these words but it is with shattered heart that I say we lost a fan earlier tonight before my show,” Taylor Swift penned in her tribute.
“I can’t even tell you how devastated I am by this. There’s very little information I have, other than the fact that she was so incredibly beautiful and far too young.”
The celebrity then performed the emotional song, which contains the chorus: Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye, You were bigger than the whole sky, You were more than just a short time, And I’ve got a lot to pine about, I’ve got a lot to live without, I’m never gonna meet, What could’ve been, would’ve been, What should’ve been you, What could’ve been, would’ve been you.”

Fans say “I’m in tears”
As the 33-year-old mourned the young woman, so did Swifties, who took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their sadness at seeing Taylor upset.
Another fan penned: “Taylor being able to sing bigger than the whole sky without crying or choking on her words. I don’t know how she’s doing that.”
A fifth said: “If you hear weeping, it’s me.”
Friends support friends
After rumors circulated that Tay Tay’s friends didn’t support her relationship with Travis Kelce, a source has spoken out. They told Entertainment Tonight that her pals, such as Selena Gomez and Gigi Hadid, did, in fact, support the celebrity couple.
“Selena and Gigi both love Taylor and Travis together. Selena and Gigi are in a good spot and have put any past drama behind them. They have both moved on,” they said. “Selena thinks this relationship is the real deal for Taylor. She is a big supporter of her and Travis.”
They continued: “Selena and Gigi see how respectful Travis is of Taylor and that he treats her like a queen. They are happy for both of them.”
