Who stars in the Spanish comedy film?

Are you looking for a good comedy movie to watch? If so, you should check out Queens on the Run on Netflix. As of April 20, it’s sitting at the No. 9 spot on Netflix’s top 10 movie list, so many people are streaming it. I’m telling you that once you find out what the film is about and who’s in the cast, you’ll want to see it for yourself right away.

Queens on the Run is a new Spanish Netflix original movie directed by Jorge Macaya from a screenplay written by Martha Higareda. Additionally, Higareda, along with Miriam Higareda and Alexis Fridman, are executive producers.

The film follows four lifelong friends who decide to get away from their everyday lives to finally take the road trip they planned in high school. But what starts as a simple road trip turns into a wild adventure.

Now, who plays the different characters in the close-knit friend group? Find out below.

Let me start off by saying that the Queens on the Run cast stars some incredible, well-known Spanish actresses such as Paola Nunez, Martha Higareda, and Alejandra Ambrosi. They play three of the characters from the friend group. In addition, Valeria Vera plays the remaining friend, and Claudia Pineda portrays a friendly stranger the group of friends meets and befriend after an incident at a gas station. Her character eventually joins the group of friends on their road trip.

Where have you seen all of these talented actresses before? First, let’s start with Paola Nunez. You might’ve watched Paola in the TV shows The Son, La Reina del Sur, The Purge and Resident Evil. She also had roles in the movies Grandma’s Wedding and Bad Boys for Life.

Next, we have Martha Higareda. You might recognize Martha from her roles in the TV shows Enamórate, Las Juanas, Royal Pains, Queen of the South, Altered Carbon and Monarch.

Alejandra Ambrosi is best known for playing characters in the Mexican telenovelas Dulce amargo Las trampas del deseo and Las Malcriadas. She also had roles in the TV shows Hermanos y detectives, XY. La revista, La Hermandad, Vuelve Temprano, Preso No. 1 and El Último Rey. She currently stars as Jacinta Hernandez in El amor invencible.

Valeria Vera is known for her roles in the TV shows El Señor de los Cielos, Hoy voy a cambiar, Betty en NY, The House of Flowers and R. Lastly, you might recognize Claudia Pineda from her previous roles in Tres Milagros, La Reina Soy Yo, Preso No. 1, Dark Desire, The Inmortal and The Mosquito Coast.
