Tisha Michelle Campbell, an American singer, and actress, was born on October 13, 1968. Campbell was reared in Newark, New Jersey, after being born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Tisha Michelle attended the Newark Arts High School in Newark, New Jersey, as well as the Washington Academy of Music in East Orange, New Jersey.
Tisha’s mother, Mona Shockley, was a nurse as well as a gospel singer, voice coach, talent scout, and nurse. She later adopted the name Mona Washington. Clifton Campbell, Tisha’s father, worked as a factory worker, vocalist, and chess teacher to disadvantaged kids.
