A thriller film starring Jaeden Martell is coming to Netflix this year titled Mr. Harrigan’s Phone. We’ve shared everything you’d possibly want to know about the upcoming original movie below.
The Blind Side creator John Lee Hancock wrote and directed the thriller. It’s a film adaptation of Stephen King’s short story of the same name from his book If It Bleeds. Jason Blum’s Blumhouse Productions and Ryan Murphy teamed up with Netflix to produce the film.

On Aug. 30, Netflix announced that the thriller is coming to the streamer on Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2022! We expected a fall 2022 release, so it looks like we were right. You can expect the film to be released on Netflix at 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET on its release date.

Mr. Harrigan’s Phone is about a young boy named Craig who befriends a much older billionaire, Mr. Harrigan. When Mr. Harrigan dies, Craig puts his iPhone in his pocket before he’s buried. But one day, Craig sends a message to the smartphone and discovers that his old friend is able to communicate with him from the grave.
