New mom Kaley Cuoco and partner Tom Pelphrey welcomed their first child, Matilda, in the spring of 2023. The couple are still getting acquainted with parenthood and embarked on their first plane flight as a family of three – and it didn’t go smoothly.

Kaley, 38, has shared special moments about life as a new mom on Instagram. But she gave an unfiltered account of a Thanksgiving situation that left her “so angry” on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
During their first family plane flight in November, Kaley brought Matilda’s sound machine to encourage her to sleep. “We’re having one of those flights that you hear that other people have, and you’re like, ‘Oh, that sucks for them.’ It actually happened to us,” she noted.
The nine-month-old was restless but eventually fell asleep. Moments later, a flight attendant suggested they turn it off at the request of another passenger.
“I couldn’t believe she asked us to turn it off,” Cuoco exclaimed. “Can you believe that? We were so angry”.
The celebrity couple discovered it was the woman in front of them, who couldn’t resist giving a sarcastic comment. “Oh, so your daughter does know how to smile?” she slammed in response to Matilda’s now-cheerful mood.
“I could have strangled her,” the Big Bang Theory actress added.

Kaley separated from her second husband, equestrian Karl Cook, in September 2021, seven months before meeting Ozark actor Tom Pelphrey. Her divorce was finalized in June 2022.
The stars met at the Ozark premiere in April after being set up by their manager. Kaley gushed that their meeting was “love at first sight”.

Cuoco was up for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for Flight Attendant, while Ozark received six nominations. Kaley was defeated by Hacks’ Jean Smart, but Julia Garner won Best Supporting Actress on behalf of Ozark.
