Jimmy Fallon jokes Taylor Swift is 'NFL MVP' over Tagovailoa and more players

NFL fans have many players’ names on their lips this November as the Kansas City Chiefs gear up for a game against the Miami Dolphins in Germany on Sunday. While Travis Kelce gets “locked in” ahead of the game, adding that he’s ready to “get out there and play,” Jimmy Fallon is making jokes about who the real NFL MVP is this year – not Tagovailoa or Kelce, but pop singer, Taylor Swift.

Speaking ahead of his trip to Germany, Travis explained to his brother that he was “sick of not putting up touchdowns” on their podcast. The American football player was deadly serious about how he plans on playing during the Chiefs vs Dolphins game. He is also holding back on revealing whether Taylor Swift will be watching the game on November 5.

Kelce keeps quiet on Taylor Swift being at Tagovailoa game

Travis and Taylor’s romance is constantly in the headlines. Ahead of his trip to Frankfurt, he was asked a press conference what the “latest status” of their relationship is.

A clip from Entertainment Tonight sees him say: “The latest status is that I got to see her last week.”

He was then asked if he’s “in love.” Kelce responded that he’s going to “keep his personal life personal.”

When it comes to whether Taylor will be attending the Dolphins v Chiefs game, Travis explained that when people know she’s going to be at a game, his play is affected.

He said: “I don’t want to mess with any of that stuff, so I’m going to keep it to myself.”

Playing a game on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, host Jimmy was asked who experts predict will be this year’s NFL MVP.

Grasping the comedic nature of the game, Jimmy responded: “Taylor Swift,” which was the “correct answer.”

More of the round’s trick questions and answers included “canceling a gym membership” being “the hardest thing on earth.”

Kelce ‘excited’ to play Tagovailoa’s Dolphins

Speaking on his New Heights podcast with his brother, tight end Travis explained that he “doesn’t feel jet lag.” He added that he’s ready to play any time as he “loves going out there and balling.”

The football star is looking to score a win against the Miami Dolphins. He added that he’d “been excited” for the game.

Ahead of Sunday, The Palm Beach Post reports that Dolphins quarterback Tagovailoa said he was “…feeling a bit jet-lagged, but was glad to have five nights of adjustment before facing the Chiefs at Deutsche Bank Park.”
