Bullet Train starring Brad Pitt arrives on Netflix on Dec. 3. You might want to watch the action flick with the whole family, but is it a family movie? Also, is Bullet Train appropriate for kids to watch? We answered these questions by sharing the parents guide and age rating below.
Brad Pitt is known for starring in action films, so we’re not surprised that he decided to take on the leading role in Bullet Train. Pitt plays the role of Ladybug, an unlucky assassin assigned the job of retrieving a suitcase full of cash from a swiftly-moving bullet train. But Ladybug is faced with a dilemma when he finds out that there are other assassins with missions linked to his aboard the train. Will Ladybug put an end to his string of bad luck and complete his task, or will he die trying? Find out by watching Bullet Train on Netflix.
Besides Pitt, the cast is made up of Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Hiroyuki Sanada, Michael Shannon, Benito A. Martínez Ocasio, and many others.
If you were hoping to watch this film during movie night with the family, I recommend watching something else because Bullet Train is not a family movie. However, if you have older kids, they’ll probably be okay watching it. It’s rated R, meaning it may not be suitable for ages under 17. The action movie was given this age rating because of strong and bloody violence, pervasive language, and brief sexuality.
If you take a look at the trailer, you’ll notice graphic violence, blood, and various weapons used by the characters. All of what was just mentioned would be considered inappropriate for a younger audience to watch by many parents. We strongly recommend putting on a kids’ movie to keep the kids occupied while you watch Bullet Train. Netflix offers tons of great kids’ content. All you have to do is browse the streamer’s catalog.
