It’s over! Ethan Plath and Olivia Plath are no longer a married couple. The couple has filed for divorce to legally end their five-year marriage.

The filing comes four months after the pair announced their separation.

On February 21, the estranged couple filed joint paperwork in Carber County, Minnesota, citing an “irretrievable breakdown” as the reason for their divorce.

Similarly, they listed February 25, 2023, as the date of their separation in the paperwork, although they didn’t publicly confirm their split until the following October of the same year.

In October 2023, Olivia announced she and Ethan had parted ways.

She announced their separation in a lengthy statement, ending with a sweet message thanking Ethan for “the good times” they shared and wishing him “the best.”

Ethan, on the other hand, a separate statement on Instagram addressing their breakup and wrote,

He then concluded his post by expressing his “deep care” for Olivia and his enduring love.

Ethan and Olivia officially tied the knot in 2018, however, their relationship has had its ups and downs throughout their marriage journey.

The couple’s problems mostly revolved around the conflict with Ethan’s parents, Kim and Barry Plath.

Since the first season of in 2019, Kim had a dispute with Olivia over fears that she, who has a different upbringing, would have a negative influence on her nine children.

In a season 4 episode in 2022, Olivia accused Kim of committing credit card fraud by making unauthorized purchases on Ethan’s card.

However, the Plath siblings clarified in an August 2022 Instagram statement that Kim had used Ethan’s credit as part of a “business agreement” that particularly helped Ethan financially.

Viewers witnessed Ethan make a decisive decision to end their marriage in the season 5 finale. At one point, the couple even separated, but they later reconciled.
