Amber Rose has given her thoughts on Cher dating her ex, Alexander ‘AE’ Edwards, who is 39 years younger than the music icon.
The celebrity couple, Cher and AE, reportedly called it quits in May 2023, however sparked rumors they were back together in September after they were spotted holding hands. Now, they’re back and better than ever, and the music executive’s ex, Amber Rose, isn’t holding back with her opinion.
Amber Rose is ‘glad’ Cher and AE are together
Amber Rose and AE started dating in 2018 and just a year later, announced they were expecting a baby. Their son, Slash was born in 2019, however in 2021, the couple went their separate ways. Now, she’s sharing her opinion on his ‘new’ relationship with the 77-year-old pop icon.
“I’m very happy that he’s with Cher because it creates stability for when [our] son goes over there,” Rose told Jason Lee on The Jason Lee Show. “That it’s not all mayhem and stuff,” she added.
“He goes to Cher’s house?” the host questioned. “So you’re definitely not the mom that’s like ‘You’re not going over there.'”
“Absolutely not, why would I do that?” Kanye West‘s ex responded. “Let’s be very clear — why would I ever be mad at her? I don’t want him.”
The 40-year-old then joked: “Somebody gotta tolerate him and it ain’t gonna be me, right? So I’m very happy that he’s over there with her because it’s stability for my son.”
As well as Slash, the model and rapper also has a son, Sebastian, with ex, Wiz Khalifa.
Cher reveals how she ‘fell in love’ with AE
The couple doesn’t hide their relationship, but they’re not the most out their either. Due to everyone wanting to know everything about Cher’s life, it’s no wonder fans have thousands of burning questions.
Luckily, at the end of last year, Amelia Dimoldenberg was on hand to ask the questions everyone wanted to know the answers to.
During an interview with the singer on her iconic series, Chicken Shop Date, the host asked if they “fell in love quickly” to which the Believe singer responded, “No not at all.”
She revealed how she left for a trip to Switzerland, and the two started their relationship through text. “And I told my friends: ‘Don’t fall in love with a younger man, we’re too old, and don’t ever fall in love by text,’” she recalled. “There goes that theory.”
